BPTO launches public consultation regarding new guidelines for position trademarks

Yesterday, the BPTO (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) published Public Consultation No. 01/2026 to discuss the new registrability criteria applicable to position marks.
The initiative opens a 45-day period for associations, industry professionals, and civil society to submit suggestions and contributions regarding the proposed new guidelines.
