Webinar ABPI – Nagoya Ratification and Benefit-Sharing Expectations

Today, our partner Leonardo Cordeiro participated in the 3rd Scientific Meeting of Study Commissions of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), moderating the panel “Nagoya Ratification and Benefit-Sharing Expectations”, along with the other coordinators of the Bioeconomy and Sustainability Commission, Luiz Ricardo Marinello and Ana Cristina Almeida Müller.
The invited speakers, Ana Paula Rodrigues Viana and Henry Novion, clearly and didactically clarified the advantages that the ratification of the Nagoya Protocol brings to our country, considering the legal certainty and transparency for the system’s actors who exploit global genetic resources.
