Today, we celebrate with respect and acknowledgment the Black Consciousness Day, a date that traces back to the death of Zumbi, leader of the Quilombo dos Palmares, a pivotal figure in the resistance against slavery in Brazil.
This day calls for reflection and understanding of the significance of African people and culture in our society. We recognize the substantial impact they have had on the shaping of Brazilian cultural identity and reaffirm our stance in the tireless fight against racial discrimination.
In our office, we champion diversity, inclusion, and social equality. We believe that this struggle belongs to all of us, and together, we can build a future that is more just and equitable.
