Our partner Andrea Possinhas, Delegate of ASIPI (Inter-American Intellectual Property Association) for Brazil and 2nd Vice-president of ABAPI (Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents), moderated an event on the topic of Position Trademarks, organized by ABAPI and ASIPI yesterday, in Rio de Janeiro.
The topic is relevant in the current scenario, in view of the INPI’s recent decisions for Trademark registrations in this category.
The event featured speeches by Schmuell Cantanhêde, the Director of Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications at INPI, and Alvaro Loureiro, the President of ABAPI.
